Dr. Berg explains the reason why keto (ketogenic diet) is bad. Ketogenic diet is basically fat burning which is a very good thing. Ketosis is only bad if you own a junk food company because in ketosis, you are not recommended to not consume refined carbohydrate and junk foods.

But just because someone does ketogenic diet, it doesn’t mean that it is a 100% healthy. The health comes in when you are lowering your carbs and insulin. Make sure than the ingredients or the food quality you do in a ketogenic diet plan are high quality and healthy to provide the nutrients and avoid the bad things.
Ketoacidosis is a rare but very dangerous condition where you are running out of insulin and you’re burning fat to such a degree where the pH becomes so acidic in the blood that it becomes dangerous. This is only going to happen in a certain circumstances:
• Diabetes Type 1
• Severe Infection
• Injury
• Surgery
• Serious Illness
