Fasting & Emotional Eating (embarrassing story)

Well this is embarrassing! For years I southed loneliness with food. As a sales-rep who was on the road constantly, I would stop in natural food stores in between meetings and on overnight trips.

During a recent prolonged fast while traveling I felt those same tendencies creep back in—thankfully I didn’t cave and instead meditated, went on a walk, worked out and feel so much better as a result.

Without fasting as a framework to create more boundaries around eating patterns, I would have likely caved.

I wish I would have known about the power of ketogenic diets, intermittent fasting and water fasting back then!
